Cardboard Testimony

In all seriousness I don’t know what my purpose is right now. I don’t feel like I’m doing anything. I’m not doing anything useful. I need something to do besides sit at home.

About being fat, worthless, useless, unsatisfactory, forgotten
Is complete and utter bullshit.
You weight was never meant to be a definition
It is not written in a dictionary with your name next to it
God thinks you are beautiful
That’s all that matters
It’s doesn’t matter what you or I or anyone else thinks about you
You are beautiful
Trust in what God has created
Not in our minute definitions
And unworthy descriptions
He defines you
Not gravity
Or a scale
Not even yourself
You are defined in His book as beautiful
Nothing less
His love is not an excuse to sin
It’s not a get out of jail free card
It’s the reason not to hate yourself
For what you did the night before
This is for my friend Linda
Because she doesn’t see my size at all
And so whenever we go into forever 21
She tells me to go look around at pretty clothes
And try to find something for myself
She doesn’t seem to understand
That nothing on those shelves
Will ever fit me
I love her so much for that
lately i’ve been waking up
with a feeling in my stomach
that says, “you’re not broken
anymore”.

but it’s a start.
